The epitome of elegance, Floris has long been Perfumer to the British Royal Family. But how do you sell perfume on a platform that can’t convey scent? We combined the power of data, real-time stock visibility and a consistent customer experience for this multi-channel retailer’s re-platforming project.

How we did it

Our biggest challenge was bringing fragrances to life online, where no one can smell them.

We incorporated a mix of creative approaches – from personal shopper to AI-driven sample program. These were supported by colour-coded fragrance families, aspirational photography, evocative copy and sophisticated drop-down navigation.

Heritage through design

Weaving Floris London's rich heritage through every aspect of the site’s design was another key aspect. We began with analysis and consumer and stakeholder research to understand the nuances of the existing brand experience. Only then were we ready to create designs that convey the quiet sophistication and effortless luxury that its customers so love.
